Project Overview

The Fedex Ground project in Kodak, Tennessee included a 235,000 square foot sorting and terminal facility and related site construction.

Charles Blalock and Sons completed all of the asphalt and paving for the project. Blalock Ready Mix provided all of the concrete to the site from two offsite plants in addition to pumping services for the tilt-up concrete wall pours. Because of the unique floor profile of the building, all the walls were cast in temporary casting beds prior to tilt-up. Blalock provided waste removal services for these temporary casting beds, transporting the concrete rubble to our crushing facility for recycling.
